BIOGRAPHY
SHAIBU ISSAH ABDULMUMIN is a tutor and HOD of the Department of Social Sciences with a focus in Social Studies Education. He had his MSC. in Development Management, BA arts in Integrated Development Studies at the University for Development Studies, Postgraduate Diploma in education from the university of education Winneba, 3year Teacher’s Cert ‘A’ from NJ College of Education, Wa, and postgraduate certificate in project management from institute of graduate studies Legon, Accra. He is currently an MPhil candidate in Agricultural Economics with the faculty of Agribusiness and communication Sciences of the University for Development studies. He has been teaching Economics, Social Studies, Critical Thinking and Practical Reasoning. He has been teaching for the past 16 years. His research interests include; identity crises, conflicts management and development, micro finance issues and gender, culture and development issues in Education
BIOGRAPHY
Yakubu Salifu is the Assessment Officer and a Tutor in the Environment and Social Studies Department of Gambaga College of Education. Mr. Salifu had his Masters of Arts in Environment and Resource Management at the University for Development Studies, Tamale‑ Ghana in 2017, Bachelor of Art Integrated Development Studies in Environment and Resource Management at the University for Development Studies, Tamale‑ Ghana in 2013, Diploma in Basic Education (DBE) at E.P. College of Education, Bimbilla‑ Ghana in 2007, Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination, at Bolgatanga Secondary School, Bolgatanga‑ Ghana in 2003 and Basic Education Certificate Examination, Gambaga Junior Secondary School, Gambaga ‑Ghana in 2000.
Mr. Salifu Research experience include: 1. 2016/2017: The Effectiveness of CHPS Compounds in Two Communities of the East Mamprusi District‑ Ghana, 2. 2013: The role of the Primary Health care ( PHC) Programme in the improvement of the health of the people of Bamahu in the Wa Municipality, 3. 2010/11: Third Trimester Practical Programme on Community Profile of the Nandom‑Korle Community, 4. 2007: Action Research on the use of Language Games to improve upon the reading difficulty of the pupils E.P. Demonstration Junior High one.
BIOGRAPHY:
Mr Ibrahim Abudulai is a tutor at the Social Science department of the college. He had his Junior Secondary School education at L/A JSS in Walewale. He also had his secondary education at Walewale Senior High Technical School after which he proceeded to Tamale Training College (now Tamale College of Education) where he was trained as a professional teacher. He currently holds Mphil in Social Studies Education, M.Ed in Social Studies and B.Ed in Social Studies all from the University of Education, Winneba. He has taught in many schools including Wulugu Senior High School in the west mamprusi municipality. He has been an examiner for WAEC since 2013. His research interest areas include, Best Pedagogy in Social Studies.
