Three day continuous professional development (CPD) workshop for staff on the new 4-year B.Ed program

As part of preparations for the smooth implementation of the 4-year B.Ed program, a three day workshop is organised for the staff of the college. Staff will be taken through topics such as;

1. Reasons for the teacher education curriculum reform and key changes that have emerged.
2. Curriculum resources
3. Key issues in B.Ed curriculum planning and implementation
4. Curriculum learning outcomes, Learning indicators and Assessment components
5. Equity and Inclusivity in curriculum implementation
6. Key features of the 4-year B.Ed curriculum
7. Supported Teaching in School (STS)
8. Integration of subject knowledge and subject specific pedagogy
9. Beginning lesson planning for year one
