
He hold Bachelor of Education with second class Upper Division honors in English from University of Cape Coast, M.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language from University of Ghana and M.Phil. Teaching English as a Second Language from University of Education. Currently, I am a PhD. Candidate in University of Education, Winneba.
I carried out a study into The Impact of On-campus Teaching on Off-campus Teaching in 2010, and it was revealed that teacher trainees learn how to organize knowledge and allocate time for each section of the lesson, and also choose a teaching method for it. I carried out another study into The Influence of First Language on Second Language in Students Communication in English. The study revealed that first language influences idea generation, word choice, proposition and vocabulary learning in the second language. These studies have contributed to knowledge in the field of language teaching and has enriched my experience as a teacher.
I have been teaching for fifteen years and I intend to work in research oriented institutions where the working environment that inspires workers to engage in research and research based activities. My understanding of this kind of environment is that it offers workers to continue to upgrade their knowledge in their various fields.
