Gambaga College of Education is a Public College of Education in Ghana. It is located in the North East Region of Ghana and affiliated to University for Development Studies. The College is inviting applications from suitably qualified applicants for employment to fill the following vacant positions in the College.

    • English Language Tutor

    • Physics Tutor

    • Music Tutor

Job Qualification

English Language Tutor

    • Applicant must hold a good first degree and a research master’s degree in  English Language or Applied Linguistics from a recognized university.

    • Both first and the second degrees must be in the same subject area.

    • Must have at least 3 years teaching experience in the relevant area.

    • Must be computer literate.

Physics Tutor

    • Applicant must hold a good first degree and a research masters degree in physics from a recognized university.

    • Both first and the second degrees must be in the same subject area.

    • Must have at least 3 years teaching experience in the relevant area.

    • Must be computer literate.

Music Tutor

    • Applicant must hold a good first degree and a research masters degree in  Music Education from a recognized University.

    • Both first and the second degrees must be in the same subject area.

    • Must have at least 3 years teaching experience in the relevant area.

    • Must be computer literate.

 Duties and Responsibilities

    • Teaching

    • Setting and marking of assignments and examination questions

    • Invigilation of examinations

    • Supervision of students’ project

    • Research and publications

    • Supervision of students’ internship

    • Assisting in the administration of the department

    • Extension work/service to the College and the nation

    • Any other related duties assigned by the Principal or his/her representative

Mode of application

Applicant who meets the requirements of any of the advertised vacancies should submit copy of his/her application package comprising the following:

    • Application letter (New Time Roman, font size 12 and 1.5 line spacing)

    • Current Curriculum Vitae with evidence of candidate’s qualification and experience

    • True certified copies of certificates and relevant transcripts

    • Three sealed referees reports to the address below either by hand-delivery or courier.
