Mr Haruna Abdul Karim is currently the head of Mathematics/ICT department of Gambaga College of Education.
Biography
Mr. Kanimam got his first degree (BSc Applied Statistics) from the University for Development and later gained admission to University of Education, Winneba to pursue Postgraduate Diploma in Education in 2012 and completed in 2013. He was offered admission to University of Cape Coast in 2016 to read his Masters in Applied Statistics and successfully graduated in 2017. He has worked as a classroom teacher, a biostatistician, educational statistician and a tutor. He is currently a Mathematics tutor and a hall tutor in Gambaga College of Education. He also teaches Mathematics at the College of Distance Education, University of Cape Coast, Gambaga centre. His interest is writing motivational messages and his best game is Oware. His professional goal is to making Mathematics learning a lovely activity for all.
Biography:
Majeed Imoro obtained his diploma in Basic Education (DBE) in 2008 from Tamale College of Education, Bachelor of Education (Basic Education major in Mathematics) in 2011 from the University of Education, Winneba, and Master of Education (Mathematics Education) in 2017 from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He has taught Mathematics (Core and Elective) to students at the Junior and Senior High as well as College level for so many years. He is currently a Mathematics tutor and a Hall tutor in Gambaga College of Education. His main research and publication interests include Mathematics teaching and learning, Secondary school Mathematics, and students’ learning attitude towards Mathematics.
Biography:
Osman Kasimu is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Tasmania in Australia. He holds Master of Education in Mathematics Education from University of Cape Coast, Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics from the University for Development Studies. He also holds Teacher Cert ‘A’ from Tamale College of Education, Tamale. Osman is a tutor interested in exploring teaching practices that promote the learning of Mathematics for all students. His research and publication interests include, but not limited to, Mathematics teaching and learning, with particular attention to students’ attitudes towards Mathematics.
